In order to be considered for acceptance into the program, a Honda vehicle must meet specific requirements regarding age and mileage. Then the vehicle is examined carefully by Honda-trained technicians, who have a 182-point checklist they complete before they approve the vehicle. If any parts are worn or tired, they get replaced with authentic Honda parts that are designed specifically for that model.

Every Honda Certified Pre-Owned vehicle features a downloadable vehicle inspection report, so you have full transparency before you even take one out for a test drive. Plus, every HondaTrue vehicle comes with a Honda-backed 7-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty (from the vehicle's original in-service date and zero odometer miles) and a 90-day trial subscription to SiriusXM® satellite radio.

Two Levels of Elite Benefits

HondaTrue now offers two different levels of additional coverage:

  • The HondaTrue Certified program applies to models with more than 12 months or 12,000 miles from their original in-service date. This non-powertrain warranty either extends a current, valid New Vehicle Limited Warranty to a total of 4-years/48,000 miles from original in-service date, or offers a Honda Certified Vehicle Limited Warranty of 12-months/12,000 miles from delivery date. You also get complimentary roadside assistance for the duration of the Certified Pre-Owned limited warranty.
  • The HondaTrue Certified+ plan applies to any 2018 and newer models with fewer than 12 months or 12,000 miles from their original in-service date. This non-powertrain warranty coverage extends the New Vehicle Limited Warranty to a total of 5-years or 86,000 miles (from original in-service date). Roadside assistance is also included for the duration of this coverage plan.
