Recently, Honda reported that the 2020 Honda CR-V would boast styling updates, more features, and upgraded powertrains when it arrives at dealerships later this fall. In addition, the company was proud to announce that the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, the company's first hybrid electric SUV, is being manufactured at the Greensburg, IN Honda facility.

The 2020 Honda CR-V will feature upgraded front and rear styling, with fresh wheel designs also offered to present an even more alluring SUV to consumers. The HondaSensing® intelligent suite of safety and driver-assist technologies is now standard on all trim levels, as is the 1.5-liter VTEC® turbocharged four-cylinder engine that was previously only available for EX and higher trim levels.

Joining the options offered in our new Honda inventory early next year, the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid keeps everything desirable about the traditionally-powered Honda CR-V while incorporating an innovative powertrain that represents a new development in automotive technology. Teaming a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle engine with two electric motors, this powertrain eliminates the need for an automatic transmission and generates smooth, electric-only power. Since the battery pack and its control systems are housed under the cargo floor, the Honda CR-V Hybrid is still able to offer generous passenger and cargo space.
