The 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility of the Year Awards are just around the corner and the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is the Japanese automaker's eligible vehicle for the truck segment. We're already crossing our fingers for it!
As you may have noticed, the Utility segment is new for the awards this year and there's a good reason. Previously, trucks had been pitted against SUVs and minivans; this is, of course, not entirely fair. So the Utility segment was added for minivans and SUVs, and now the Ridgeline will be on even ground against other trucks. There are three rounds of judging to get through and the finalists will be announced in December of this year, so keep tuned in for more in the future.
