Buena Park Honda, in partnership with GCHope, is dedicated to providing nutritious nonperishable food items for the nearly 26,000 homeless children in Orange County by hosting an ongoing food drive.
Buena Park Honda will offer 10% off any vehicle service to customers who donate two or more canned food items toward "We've Got Your Back".

We've Got Your Back is a weekend nutrition program created by Giving Children Hope for elementary students in Orange County's school districts who have been identified as homeless under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. Currently, there are nearly 26,000 children in Orange County's elementary schools who have been identified as homeless.
These children often have limited access to nutritional foods and primarily find meals as a part of the free and reduced breakfast and lunch programs on campus. During the weekends, however, many of these children go hungry.
Giving Children Hope works to meet the needs of these children in Orange County identified as homeless by continuously providing a stable and nutritious source of food to carry home during the weekends as well as nutrition education to help develop and reinforce healthful eating habits.
